When John Edwards ran for president in 2008, he was the only candidate promising to protect American workers from “free” trade. Many of our manufacturing jobs had been sent overseas. Edwards pulled ahead in the polls. So, the other Democratic candidates started talking about protecting American workers too.
Then, the press started waging a full fledged war on Edwards. They attacked him constantly over an affair he had while his wife was sick. But, they barely mentioned that presidential candidate McCain didn’t just have an affair.
He had left his sick wife and married a beauty queen.
It was easy to see how biased the reporting was.
Obama won the election after promising to tackle “free” trade and get back manufacturing jobs. After the election, John Edwards was persecuted with a lawsuit. Edwards was exonerated. At the time, it looked like a warning was being sent to any future candidates that would dare to run on the “free” trade issue.
And yet… Trump came along and did just that.
The TPP trade agreement was prepared during the Obama years. It was negotiated in secret. The TPP would have superseded local and national laws that protect us. Foreigners would have been able to sue us if our laws interfered with corporate profits. What happened to Obama campaign promises on “free” trade agreements???
Fast track for TPP was approved. All the bases were loaded and Hillary was promising to deliver. But, Trump won and set TPP aside… infuriating the ultra rich and powerful.
Now, we are seeing the same bullying tactics against Trump as were used against Edwards. There has been constant persecution by the press. Trump is even being threatened with prosecution after the election… just like happened to Edwards.

Wasn’t Giuliani a Trump lawyer? Hmmm… On the other hand, Trump did complain that he was having trouble finding any lawyers to represent him in impeachment proceedings. So, maybe Trump was cornered into that.
Sure does look like we were setup three times… 9/11, the Scamdemic, and the election fraud protests at the Capitol.
The ventilators were ruining lungs and killing people along with Remdesivir / illegal DNRs / forcing sick people into old folks care homes? All that testing… and the inept PCR tests… making it appear to be a pandemic with all the false positives? Trump calling for lots of testing and boasting about the ventilators and fast track of vaccines? Hmmmm…. Now it all makes sense. Trump did sound very sure that he would not get taken down by Mueller.
Was Trump in it all along? Or did he capitulate to the constant torture of himself/family/friends? Hard to know for sure.
